Is it perfect? No! Is it a very presentable Selmer AS500 Saxophone? Absolutely! Nobody could be ashamed of using this great used instrument.

The Selmer 500 Series Saxophones have a focused centered tone, accurate intonation and designed for ease of play. A high F# key extends the natural range of the instrument to perform advanced literature. Tosimplifyadjustment and regulation without bending keys there are adjustment screws on the left- and right- hand sections along with the articulated C#. An Engraved bell is based on a traditional French pattern for that professional look everybody looks for. Attractive Detachable sculptured key guards make this Saxophone easy to repair.

Comfortable and correct hand placement is facilitated by the ergonomic key design. This is a key feature of the 500 series Saxophones. A rocking table key mechanism helps critical technique between B., B., and C#. Smaller hands will enjoy the placements of the left-hand octave key spat and lower palm key spat heights for high D, D# and F. Included is a molded right hand thumb rest adjustment. It all gets put together with a natural, comfortable feel because of the design of the right and left-hand key sections in an in-line manner.

This is a nice Saxophone albeit a used one. The finish is nearly scratch-free and you will have to do a close inspection to see any of the very few defects. There is however one tiny dent just above the serial number on the back near the bottom. Not even noticeable unless it is pointed out.

In new condition these Saxophones will run in the $1900.00 to $2500.00 range. This one will cost the lucky new owner just $500.00 OBO. All reasonable offers will be considered.
